BOXES, SWITCHES & RECEPTACLES
1 RECEPTACLE Orbit Industries’ R50-A, three-pole, 4-wire range
receptacle is compatible with 125–250V AC. It has an impact-resistant, thermoplastic body and 10–4 AWG back terminals. It is
available in black and white.
2 BOX Arlington Industries’ FLBCF101LA floor box kit comes with
a rectangular, light almond cover with two flip lids. It is designed
for new concrete pours and includes spacers for adjusting the
box to the finished floor height. Additional nonmetallic and
metallic covers, and threaded plug options are available.
3 BOX Allied Moulded Products’ 9335-NKRED fixture support
box is designed to be used with nonmetallic sheathed cable. It
is constructed out of fiberglass-reinforced polyester and comes
with plated carbon steel nails. It is available in a 31/2-in. and 4-in.
diameter and in red or tan.
4 SWITCH Legrand’s nonfusible 600V AC safety switch has an
auxiliary contact and can be fed from the top, bottom or back
(which the end-user can decide at the time of installation). It
does not require closure plug kits.
5 SWITCH McGill’s multipole toggle switch is designed for
marine, food service, generator, industrial control and office
automation markets. It is constructed out of metallic nickel-plated brass toggles and threaded bushings. Several electrical
ratings are available to meet a variety of requirements.
6 RECEPTACLE Mockett’s PCS34 retractable power and
communications grommet receptacle has a clear rubber
ring around the top that forms a seal when closed. Several
configurations are available with tamper-resistant electrical
receptacles and data receptacles.
7 SWITCH Appleton’s fiberglass-reinforced polyester switch is
designed for use with industrial plant equipment, including in
washdown areas. Push-buttons and selector switches are used
together with contactors or magnetic starters for remote control
of motors in hazardous locations.
8 SWITCH Leviton’s Decora electronic timer switch has an
astronomical clock that auto-adjusts to local sunrise/sunset
times, a backlit LCD display and a rechargeable battery. Users can
automate the control of lights, heat lamps, pool pumps or fans.
9 BOX Thomas & Betts’ FFPT6 furniture-feed poke-through floor
box is designed for the second floor and above in commercial
buildings. It has a ¾-in. hub for power wiring and 1¼- and 2-in.
hubs for communications cabling. The integral junction box has
27-in.3 capacity, with five 1/2-inch and five ¾-inch knockouts.
10 BOX & RECEPTACLE Garvin Industries’ with equipment
brass pop-up floor box comes with two pre-installed, 20A
receptacles and two USB receptacles and a 4-in.2 adjustable-height wiring box. The cover snaps closed when not in use.
