1 LIGHT ENGINE Osram’s PrevaLED Cube G3 light engine is designed for use in recessed downlights, low-bay and surface-mount
luminaires. It is available with integrated optics and without; in 1,100-, 2,000- and 3,000-lumen packages; and color temperatures of
2,700K, 3,000K, 3,500K and 4,000K.
2 T5 DRIVER Thomas Research Products’ 75W LED driver has a long form that matches T5 fluorescent ballasts. It has 0–10V dimming
capabilities and is available in constant-current, dimmable and constant-voltage versions. It is rated for indoor use in dry or damp areas.
3 DIGITALLY ADDRESSABLE BALLAST Lutron Electronics’ EcoSystem H-Series digitally addressable ballast is capable of
continuous, flicker-free dimming down to 1 percent or less of full light output. It features a digital link, which allows for rezoning without
rewiring, and can support up to 64 digital ballasts, 64 occupancy sensors, 16 daylight sensors and 64 wall stations or IR receivers.
4 LED DRIVER Fulham Co. Inc.’s HotSpot Plus LED driver and emergency system functions as a 40W constant-current LED driver in
standard mode. It has a programmable output current range of 250– 1,400 mA, which can be set using a portable, handheld controller
or with a PC using advanced programming software. During a power outage, it automatically engages an integrated backup battery,
which provides 5W of power for 180 min. or 10W for 90 min.
5 BALLAST Universal Lighting Technologies’ Triad electronic, compact fluorescent ballast operates a variety of quad, triple and
multilamp applications between 12–42W. It has universal input voltage of 120–277V, a metal can construction, end-of-life shutdown
circuit and automatic lamp reset after shutdown. The bottom exit and bottom exit leads with mounting studs versions are designed for
downlight applications, while the multi-exit and multi-exit with mounting studs versions can be used for applications such as sconces,
ceilings and outdoor fixtures.
6 TRACK DRIVER Phillips' LED indoor downlight and track drivers are available in 4–50W. The housing is designed for junction-box
mounting in downlights and slim housings for incorporation into track housings. They feature 0–10V or leading/trailing-edge dimming
and have an interface for programming features.
7 BALLAST Professional Outdoor Lighting’s HID R TB1 above-ground, single ballast box is constructed of powder-coated steel and
is designed for remote-mounted fixtures. It is rated for – 20°F starting. Long-range igniters are standard. It comes with two ½–¾-in.
combination knockouts and is also available in a twin ballast model.
8 LIGHT ENGINE Cree’s CR-LE LED light engine delivers up to 130 lumens per watt of 90 CRI light at 4,000 lumens. It is available in
warm, neutral, cool or daylight color temperatures; has step or 0–10V dimming options; and can be surface-mounted or suspended.
Other available models include 1 ft.-by- 4 ft. and 1 ft.-by- 2 ft.
